Mr. Reginald Nugent was a PhD candidate at Stanford University in Applied Economics and holds a M.Sc. degree in Economics from the London School of Economics (U.K.), and the U.W.I. and a B.Sc. Degree in Economics (Upper 2nd Class Honors) from the University of the West Indies.
He was a founding Managing Director for Capital West Advisors, a business plan development and capital-raising firm based in Beverly Hills, California. More recently he was a co-founder and the CFO for Transcel, Limited, a Jamaican-based mobile technology venture. Mr. Nugent was a co-founder and the Chief Financial Officer, for Isadra, Inc., a Silicon Valley software company that was successfully acquired in 1999 for US $50 Million.
